Cross Language can set up a pilot program to measure quality improvements of the MT output coming from the customised engine as compared to the base engines. We have developed our proprietary methodology and tools in order to organise objective quality evaluations with multiple unbiased informants. This results in a transparent comparison of the participating engines, languages and customisation levels, for your specific context.

Productivity

Another important aspect is productivity: what are the potential time and cost savings from implementing MT technology in a production context? Cross Language organises post-editing pilots with independent linguists and/or your regular translators in our web-based environment, which allows us to estimate a realistic productivity increase. This provides a solid basis for your business case.

Other factors to take into account are:
